Legend to face murder charge

Phil Spector’s trial for murder has been set for January 2007.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler ruled that his trial would take place at the start of next year following numerous delays.

Spector is accused of murdering Lana Clarkson at his Los Angeles home in February 2003, just hours after the two met at the House Of Blues nightclub.
