Speaking previously about ‘Ill Manors’, he said: “It’s a mirror, a reflection of today. And of the problems that have been swept under the carpet since the riots put them on the front pages. That’s why I made it so visceral, to get under people’s skin. I wanted people to misunderstand it, and to start debating it again.”

Last month, Plan B, aka Ben Drew launched his third studio album in London with an all-star cast including Labrinth, Kano, John Cooper Clarke and Chase And Status. He followed this with another intimate show at London’s 100 Club last week (July 30) as part of Converse‘s Represent series.

Drew has also been added to the line-up for London’s iTunes Festival. He will headline the Roundhouse on September 4 and joins the likes of Jack White, Usher, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and One Direction in being confirmed for the festival, with more acts set to be confirmed across the coming weeks.
