Rapper had an operation yesterday (September 7) to remove suspicious lump
Professor Green had surgery yesterday (September 7) to remove a potentially cancerous lump from his head.
The ‘Read All About It’ rapper tweeted throughout the day and updated his fans and followers of his operation, saying: “All I can hope is it isn’t cancerous. Won’t know until Thursday.”
Doctors removed the suspicious 5mm x 5mm lymph node from Green’s head yesterday afternoon and will now send the lump off to be tested to determine whether it is cancerous.
Before undergoing the surgical procedure, which was carried out under local anaesthetic, Green tweeted:
Despite having a serious operation on his head, Green continued with his touring duties and played last night’s Pilton Party, which is now in its 27th year and takes place at Glastonbury’s Worthy Farm.
After his performance at the event, which also saw The Vaccines play, Green tweeted: “Pilton Party thank you! For that hour I didn’t even think about all the shit going on – you lot were amazing! Thank You!!! X.”
