Professor Green: ‘I’m in talks with Slipknot over a collaboration’

'At Your Inconvenience' rapper says metallers' Sid Wilson has been in touch about working together

Professor Green has revealed that he is in talks with Slipknot man Sid Wilson for a forthcoming collaboration.

The rapper, who released his second album ‘At Your Inconvenience’ last year, has revealed that the Iowa metallers’ DJ got in touch with him recently and said he was a big fan.

Speaking to The Sun about his future plans for collaborations, Green said: “Collaborations come up naturally – I don’t try to force anything. We met Sid Wilson, the DJ from Slipknot. He told me he was a big fan. How mental is that? So we were talking and he’s going to send some stuff over.”

The rapper added that he was planning to work with 2 Bears‘ man Raf Rundell on his next album, but that he had reached out to the dance producer this time.

He said of this: “I want to get in with Raf Rundell from 2 Bears as I love the album. I actually just reached out and said ‘I fucking love your album and I’d love to do some stuff’, so hopefully that will happen.”

Green added that he hoped to work with Emeli Sande once again, who he collaborated with on his Number One single ‘Read All About It’.

Professor Green is set to be a constant presence on the festival circuit this summer, with slots at Isle Of Wight Festival, V Festival and Wireless Festival among his booked slots.
