The rap legends play a show in Glasgow...

PUBLIC ENEMY have added an extra date to their tour of the UK and Ireland.

As previously reported on NME.COM, rap legends Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff, DJ Lord and the S1W’s will give the British public their first chance to hear live material from the band’s ‘Revolverlution’ album, released last October.

As well as the previously announced 12 dates, the group have now revealed they will close the tour at Glasgow Academy on April 14.

As well as shows around the UK, Public Enemy will be headlining the All Tomorrows Parties festival at Camber Sands in East Sussex on April

The shows will be the bands first appearance in the UK since 2000, as their November Astoria show was cancelled due to fears over international terrorism.
