A track doing the rounds in New York refers directly to the star's recent courtroom experiences...
PUFF DADDY‘s new album ‘P. DIDDY AND THE BAD BOY FAMILY … THE SAGA CONTINUES…’ will refer, as expected, directly to his court case earlier this year.
On the track ‘That’s Crazy’, currently popping up on mix tapes in New York, the Bad Boy Records chief raps: [I]”They had the nerve to say I had a gun/ Man, for 12 years I had a run/ And they done threatened my family dog/ Courthouse got my name in the log/ They ain’t care if my name is Sean John.”
Puffy was acquitted in March for his part in a December 1999 nightclub shooting.
On his forthcoming album, as revealed earlier this week on NME.COM, Puffy will create all his sounds from scratch and employ none of his trademark samples.
According to MTV.COM, guests on the record, due for release on July 10 in the US and July 9 in the UK, include Black Rob, G-Dep newcomer MC Kain.
