SEAN ‘PUFFY’ COMBS is being sued by the owner of a NEW YORK nightclub where the rapper was alleged to have been involved in a shooting incident last December.

The owner of the CLUB NEW YORK, Michael Bergos, claims his business was damaged by the incident, which left three people injured, and is suing Combs for $1.8 million, according to reports on [url=]www.billboard.com. Also named in the lawsuit are his Bad Boy Entertainment company, Bad Boy rapper Jamal ‘Shyne’ Barrow, his bodyguard Anthony Jones and Wardel Fenderson, his driver.

He has denied charges of possessing guns and bribery during the incident. Barrow is also accused of three counts of attempted murder for allegedly opening fire with a 9mm handgun. The trial is scheduled to begin on January 2, 2001.

Puffy has already been presented with a $3 million lawsuit by his driver Wardel Fenderson, who claims that he suffered emotional distress after the incident. Puffy is alleged to have attempted to bribe him to say that the owned a gun found by police in the car when they stopped it as Fenderson was driving the rap star and his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez away from the club after the shooting.

Lopez and Puffy are reported to have recently split.
