Former Gallows man will release his new band's first effort in October
Pure Love, the new band featuring former Gallows frontman Frank Carter, have revealed the title of their debut album.
The band, who also feature former Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carroll in their line-up, have named their debut full-length effort as ‘Anthems’ and have confirmed it will be released in October.
To read a new interview with Pure Love, in which they go into detail about the album, pick up this week’s NME, which is on newsstands tomorrow (July 4) or available digitally, but by way of explanation for the title, singer Frank Carter simply told NME: “It’s an album full of anthems. It does exactly what it says on the tin.”
Pure Love will release their new single ‘Handsome Devil’s’ Club’ on July 22. It is the second track to be taken from ‘Anthems’ and follows the release of ‘Bury My Bones’ as a free download earlier this year.
Pure Love have announced details of their first UK tour earlier this month. The tour, which consists of six shows in total, begins at Birmingham’s Glee Club on July 18 and runs until July 25, when the band headline York’s Duchess venue.
