FOR THOSE ABOUT TO STONER ROCK…

And they're likely to be joined by Megadeth for the gig at Milton Keynes in June...

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE have been confirmed as support to AC/DC at the rock veterans’ only outdoor UK show of the summer, while MEGADETH are almost certain to become the final band on the June 4 bill, NME.COM can reveal.

The bands join The Offspring who have already been confirmed as guests at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Tickets for the 60,000-capacity show are now on sale.

Megadeth revealed recently that they are about to release new album ‘The World Needs A Hero’ during May. The album will be the band’s first for new label Sanctuary Records. It follows last year’s ‘Capitol Punishment’ collection, released to mark their departure from Capitol Records.
