Queens of the Stone Age announce massive outdoor UK summer show with huge support acts

Could this be the best gig of 2018?

Queens of the Stone Age have announced a huge new summer 2018 show in London, with Iggy Pop and Run The Jewels leading an all-star set of support acts.

The California band, who released their seventh studio album ‘Villains’ earlier this year, will join the European festival circuit in summer 2018, having already announced a slew of shows across the continent including NOS Alive and a headline slot at INMusic Festival in Croatia.

QOTSA will bring the ‘Villains’ tour to London’s Finsbury Park next summer for a huge outdoor headline show, which will take place on June 30 2018.

The Josh Homme-led band will be supported by a stellar cast of acts, led by Iggy Pop – who collaborated with Homme and Dean Fertita on his last album, ‘Post Pop Depression’ – in what is a UK live exclusive.

Iggy Pop last played in Finsbury Park over 20 years ago, and the show will mark his first London performance since his sold-out Royal Albert Hall show with Homme, Fertita and Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders in May 2016.

Joining QOTSA and Iggy Pop on the bill are hip-hop duo Run The Jewels, while The Hives have also joined the line-up.

That already impressive line-up will be extended in due course, with more acts set to be announced soon.

Tickets for the huge show will go on sale here at 9am on December 1, and are priced at £52.50 (plus booking fee) for general admission. VIP tickets are also available.
