Co-headliner gone after just two shows

Ne-Yo has been dropped from his slot on the R Kelly co-headlining ‘Double Up’ North American tour after performing just two shows.

Ne-Yo, who has written songs for Beyonce (‘Irreplaceable’) and Rihanna (‘Unfaithful’), received the news that he was off the tour last night (November 19), according to reports.

It is being reported that there were contractual disputes on the tour and that the issue is with Ne-Yo and the promoter, and not betweenNe-Yo and R Kelly.

The opening acts on the tour – Keyshia Cole and J Holiday – will continue on the ‘Double Up’ tour.

R Kelly famously fell out with Jay-Z during their ‘Best Of Both Worlds’ tour when Kelly was reportedly pepper-sprayed by a member of Jay-Z’s entourage.
