‘You are lost’: Radiohead continue to share mysterious artwork on Instagram

Band share black and white image of cobbled street online

Radiohead are continuing to post mysterious artwork on their Instagram, today (May 17) updating the page with a new image.

The latest image shows an alleyway in black and white. Unlike the art shared yesterday (Monday), this new picture comes complete with a caption. It reads: “You are lost.”

The pieces could be part of a series of artist-created vignettes that the band announced last week. Radiohead recently opened their new album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ up to a number of visual artists, with the first work displayed online last Friday (13 May).

However, these new pieces come without artist attribution, and the style looks similar to the work of Stanley Donwood, Radiohead’s long-term visual collaborator who designed the official artwork for ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’.

Donwood has posted four images on his own Instagram in the past 24 hours. They can all be viewed below:

Meanwhile, Radiohead have been accused of breaching copyright with their ‘Burn the Witch’ video. The family of Trumpton creator Gordon Murray are “deciding what to do next”.
