Three Radiohead videos to premiere on MySpace

First clip is online today (November 21)

Three Radiohead videos will premiere on MySpace Music in the coming weeks, with the clip for ‘Weird Fishes’ appearing online today (November 21).

The videos are winners of the Aniboom animated video competition and were made to accompany three ‘In Rainbows’ tracks, including ’15 Step’ and ‘Videotape’, which are to be premiered on November 25 and November 28 respectively.

The competition winners are Tobias Stretch from the US for ‘Weird Fishes’, the German team of Wolfgang Jaiser and Claus Winter for ‘Videotape’, and Kota Totori from Japan for ’15 Step’.

The band themselves chose each winner, and even selected a fourth video for ‘Reckoner’ as the official promo for the song. The clip was created by Clement Picon of France.

Singer Thom Yorke says he was “totally blown away” by the standard of the submissions.

A grand prize of $10,000 was on offer for the winner, but the quality was such that the band decided to choose four winners, giving each one the prize money, which was used to create the videos.
