IT MIGHT BE WRONG

Up to nine unreleased songs available on fan sites...

Radiohead played the second date of their EUROPEAN tour last night (Tuesday July 23) in LISBON and showcased yet more new songs – which are already being swapped over the Internet.

MP3s of the first night’s gig are available on fan sites including www.ateaseweb.com. Radiohead are one of the few popular rock bands who support file sharing of their music. Jonny Greenwood posted a message on the official Radiohead site yesterday, commenting on the quality of the MP3s: “I hear they’re a bit rough-sounding. A good thing possibly (smudges the songs which are still a little out of focus)”.

Unlike the opening night, last night’s show wasn’t split into two sets. Radiohead played their new songs at the beginning of the evening and continued with more familiar material. Rarities included ‘There There’ and ‘Keep The Wolf From The Door’.

Don’t miss NME.COM’s coverage from Benicassim featuring Radiohead, The Chemical Brothers, The Cure, Suede and more from August 2 to 4 2002.
