The unique copy of 'OK Computer' to be sold off in order to raise money for the Samaritans...

A one-off signed RADIOHEAD gold disc of ’OK COMPUTER’ is to be auctioned for charity.

The disc, which marks sales of the album in the US, will be auctioned off this evening (September 5) at the Oxford Police Ball in aid of the Samaritans.

Organiser Dave Eustice told BBC news: “Oxford police area and its social club were delighted to be given this extremely generous gift by Phil (Selway) and the band.

“It means we can guarantee a large profit for the charities involved and gives our night an extra buzz. The police area is tremendously supportive of worthy causes.”

Selway has been involved with The Samaritans for many years.

Radiohead are now headed back to the UK after a North American tour. After a short break, they will then return to the US for more shows in support of their new album ’Hail To The Thief’.
