RAZORLIGHT SET THE ALARM BELLS RINGING!

The band are forced to stop their set after an alarm goes off - but they return to wow their adoring fans...

Razorlight had their set stopped due to a fire drama at on the first night of the NME ROCK’N’ROLL RIOT tour last night (September 28).

The band were headlining at Keele University when a fire alarm was activated three songs in during ‘Up All Night’, causing the PA and house lights to go dead.

The entire venue was then evacuated while it was established that it was a false alarm. Singer Johnny Borrell spent the 45 minutes stood outside talking to fans.

Returning to the stage at around 11pm, the band picked up where they left off, playing for another hour to an adoring crowd.

The tour continues tonight at Norwich UEA.
