All the details of what has been an eventful time for the band...
Razorlight have announced final details of their debut album, as well as speaking out about the departure of their drummer.
The band have revealed that they will release ‘Up All Night’ on June 21, and the LP is expected to include ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Lies’, ‘Rip It Up’, ‘Stumble And Fall’ as well as the new single ‘Golden Touch’ – out on June 7.
As reported in NME last week, Razorlight drummer Christian Smith-Pancorvo has left the group because he could not handle the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. He said that being in the band was affecting his health and conflicting with his stringent lifestyle regime.
Guitarist Bjorn Agren said: “I’m really sad to see Chris go, but I’m really really happy that he decided to finish the album with us. Chris – may you find many nice trees to live in.”
Bassist Carl Dalemo added: “Chris is one of my absolute favourite drummers and I’m really happy I got to work with him. I love him for what he did with us – it will be hard to find a worthy replacement.”
Razorlight will also head out on a UK tour later month following their exclusive gig in Brighton.
