Razorlight stay at the top of the NME Chart

'America' is Number One for another week

Razorlight remain top of the NME Chart for a second week tonight (October 1) with ’America’.

The four-piece beat off competition from Kasabian, who are the highest new entry at Number Three with ’Shoot The Runner’ and The Kooks, who enter at Number Four with ’Ooh La’.

The other new entries on the chart come from The Long Blondes who go in at Number Seven with ’Once And Never Again’, The Young Knives, who go in at Number Nine with ’The Decision’ and Jamie T, who goes in at Number Ten with ’If You Got The Money’.

Will Razorlight be able to hold onto the top spot when My Chemical Romance return next week with ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’?

Or will they be beaten by The Horrors, who release ’Count In Fives’?

This week’s NME Chart is:

1. Razorlight – ‘America’

3. Kasabian – ‘Shoot The Runner’

4. The Kooks – ‘Ooh La’
