Patrick Wolf covers Razorlight at Carling Weekend: Leeds

Singer also includes disco classic in his Carling Stage set

Patrick Wolf covered a disco classic tonight (August 25) at the Carling Weekend: Leeds Weekend.

Wolf headlined the Carling Stage on the second night of the northern leg of the festival.

Wolf said: “Are you ready to dance?” before playing ATC‘s ‘My Heart Beats Like A Drum (Dam Dam Dam)’.

The disco tune found Wolf stripping off his purple and silver cape and dancing to the tune with his band that included a brass section and a violinst.

Earlier in the set Wolf asked the crowd: “So you didn’t want to go to Razorlight?” and the crowd booed before he then burst into a quick version of ‘America’.

He said: “Are you hydrated enough? We’ve got one and a half days left. I dont want you to get kidney problems!”

Patrick Wolf played:

‘Overture’

‘Get Lost’

‘Bluebell’

‘The Libertine’

‘Accident and Emergency’

‘A Boy Like Me’

‘My Heart Beats Like A Drum’

‘The Magic Position’
