Band member arrested at Carling Weekend: Reading Festival

Little Man Tate bassist cautioned by police

Little Man Tate bassist Ben Surtees was arrested last night (August 24) at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival.

The Sheffield was stopped by police at the end of the night as the festival closed down.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM that Surtees was asked to leave the site by bouncers as they closed the VIP bar, but was too drunk.

Because of this police intervened and cautioned the band member, releasing him straightaway.

The bassist was able to rejoin his band and play the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival today without incident.
