Little Man Tate debut new songs at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival

Singer Jon Windle fluffs his words on Main Stage

Little Man Tate kicked off the second day of the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival at noon today (August 25) by debuting three brand new songs.

The four-piece pulled a huge afternoon crowd as they were greeted to huge chants of ‘Yorkshire, Yorkshire’ as they arrived on the main stage for their Yorkshire homecoming.

Kicking off with ‘Man I Hate Your Band’, the Sheffield outfit performed a series of tracks from their debut before they introduced three new songs – ‘Time For Anything’, ‘Boy In The Anorak’ and ‘What Your Boyfriend Said’.

During the latter track, singer Jon Windle started laughing when he forgot the words.

“It’s a good job that one was new,” he later joked. “I didn’t know if you could tell but I was making the words up as I went along then.”

Later the band were greeted with huge cheers when they played hit single ‘Sexy In Latin’.

Little Man Tate played:

‘Man I Hate Your Band’

‘The Agent’

‘European Lover’

‘Time for Anything’

‘Boy in the Anorak’

‘What Your Boyfriend Said’

‘Sexy In Latin’

‘House Party at Boothys’

Further performances on the Main Stage will come from The Long Blondes, Interpol, Kings Of Leon and Razorlight.
