Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals – the full line-up

NME.COM has all the confirmed names

The first wave of bands playing the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals have been revealed.

Following this evening’s (April 3)earlier announcement that Franz Ferdinand, Muse and Pearl Jam will be headlining this year’s event, NME.COM can now reveal that Kaiser Chiefs, Audioslave, The Raconteurs, Primal Scream, Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Dirty Pretty Things and Maximo Park are also lining-up for the August bash.

Taking place between August 25 and 27 at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds, other bands set to appear at the three-day festival include Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Futureheads, The Cribs, Placebo, My Chemical Romance and The Rakes.

Tickets for the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals go on sale from 7.30pm tonight.
