Reading And Leeds Festivals weather report – three days to go

Will it be rain or shine on the two festival sites?

The Reading And Leeds Festivals kick off this weekend (August 28-30), and we have the latest weather reports.

According to weather prediction service Metcheck, Friday in Reading should be almost rain-free, with temperatures peaking at 18 degrees Celsius. However, BBC Weather is predicting light rain showers.

Metcheck predicts sunshine in Reading on Saturday, with no rain and temperatures peaking at 19 degrees Celsius. BBC Weather also predicts sunshine, but claims that temperatures should peak at a slightly warmer 22 degrees Celsius.

Sunday should be similarly rain-free, with some cloud and temperatures peaking at 20 degrees Celsius.

Over in Leeds Metcheck predicts a chance of a very small amount of drizzle until 1pm (BST) with cloudy conditions. Temperatures should peak at 15 degrees Celsius. BBC Weather, meanwhile, predicts heavy showers.

Metcheck predicts a rain-free day on Saturday in Leeds, with temperatures peaking at 16 degrees Celsius. BBC Weather predicts light rain and a top temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.

Leeds temperatures should peak at 17 degrees Celsius in Sunday, with a small amount of drizzle in the afternoon.

This year’s event will be headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Kings Of Leon.
