Reading And Leeds Festivals weather forecast – two days to go

Will festival-goers be basking in sunshine or standing knee-deep in mud?

Reading And Leeds Festivals kick off this Friday (August 22) – and NME.COM has all the vital information regarding the weekend’s weather at both sites.

Forecasting service Metcheck.com is currently predicting showers with sunny intervals throughout Friday in Reading, although by 7pm rain is likely to have stopped completely. Temperatures are predicted to peak at 19 degrees Celsius during the day.

Saturday (August 23) is expected to be rain free all day, although clouds are expected over Reading in the early morning and evening. Temperatures should peak at 21 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday (August 24), Metcheck predicts light rain and showers over Reading from 7am until 1pm, and again from 4pm until 7pm. It’s expected to be cloudy all day, and the top temperature is predicted to be 14 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Leeds is expected to be mostly dry on Friday (apart from light showers from 10am until 1pm). The top temperature is expected to be 16 degrees Celsius.

Saturday at Leeds should be a little warmer and almost completely rain-free, but still cloudy for the majority of the day. The temperature is predicted to peak at around 18 degrees Celsius.

After some light rain during the early morning, Sunday at Leeds is again looking almost completely rain-free, but cloudy overhead. Daytime temperatures again peak at 18 degrees Celsius.
