Battles play storming puzzle pop set at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival

The US band are watched by host of indie legends

Battles played a storming puzzle pop set tonight (August 26) at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival.

The New York band were watched by a number of indie legends during their set on the Carling Stage.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Dinosaur Jr‘s J Mascis and Murph watched the band from the side of the stage.

The band’s set was also appreciated by Yannis Philippakis from Foals.

They played a set culled from debut album ‘Mirrored’ including single Atlas.
