Band perform on a rooftop in Venice Beach for comeback clip

Red Hot Chili Peppers have premiered the video for their new single ‘The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie’.

The clip, which was directed by Marc Klasfeld, who also shot Foo Fighters‘ ‘Times Like These’, shows the band performing on a rooftop in Venice Beach in LA. Watch footage of the video by scrolling down and clicking below.

The track, which was the first to be released from the Chili Peppersforthcoming 10th studio album ‘I’m With You’ last month, was debuted live to the public at the Summer Sonic festival in Japan over the weekend alongside two other new tracks – ‘Factory Of Faith’ and ‘Ethiopia’.

The video also shows new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer for the first time. He was formally the band’s guitar technician and a member of Warpaint. Klinghoffer replaced longtime player John Frusciante, who left in 2009 to focus on his solo work.

I’m With You’ is due to be released on August 29.
