Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith cover The Rolling Stones – watch

Lookalike duo perform as I Pissed My Pants with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses

Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and comedian Will Ferrell teamed up with members of Pearl Jam and Guns N’ Roses to cover The Rolling Stones’ ‘Honky Tonk Women’ at a charity concert last night (September 19).

Footage of the lookalike pair, who earlier this year engaged in the light-hearted drum challenge, performing with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Guns N’ Roses Duff McKagan, Dave Matthews Band’s Stefan Lessard, and country singer Brandi Carlile can be seen below.

Stereogum reports that the band named themselves I Pissed My Pants for the occasion, a benefit event for Cancer For College hosted by Ferrell in Seattle. The comedy actor played cowbell during the performance.

It was Ferrell making light of the uncanny similarity during a Reddit Ask Me Anything that led the Red Hot Chili Peppers man to challenge him to a duel.

Ferrell was declared the winner in the first drum-off after bringing out a cowbell and playing along to the song ‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’, originally by Blue Oyster Cult.
