AMERICAN ‘HIGH’

The rap duo will appear in 'How High'...

Rappers METHOD MAN and REDMAN are set to star in ‘HOW HIGH’, a new film comedy, it has been announced.

The pair will star as Jamal and Silas, two friends who smoke something strange, which helps them waltz through their exams and end up at Harvard. Everything goes fine in the Ivy League until their supernatural stash dries up and they are forced to rely on their wits to get by.

Filming has already begun in Los Angeles on the project. It marks the film directing debut of Jesse Dylan, Bob Dylan’s son and better known for advertising commercials and music videos. Danny De Vito is one of the producers.

Cypress Hill also make an appearance in the film, as the house band at a campus party.

Co-stars include Lark Voorhies from teen television comedy ‘Saved By The Bell’, Anna Maria Horsford and Spalding Gray.

‘How High’ marks Redman’s film debut, while Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man has acted in films including ‘The Great White Hype’, ‘Copland’ and ‘Black & White’, and recently popped up in television prison drama ‘OZ’.
