Black Lips, Rufus Wainwright and Beirut also join the Spanish event's bill

Reunited Swedish punks Refused are among the new additions to this summer’s Primavera Sound festival line-up.

The seminal punk band announced that they had reunited earlier this month and are set to appear at a number of festivals during the summer, including Coachella. They have yet to confirm any UK shows.

Also joining the Spanish festival’s line-up are Laura Marling, The Black Lips, Beirut, Girls, Iceage, Kings Of Convenience, Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo, Melvins, Richard Hawley, Rufus Wainwright, St Etienne, The Rapture, Trash Talk and a string of others.

Already announced to play at the festival, which takes place May 30 – June 3, 2012 at Parc Del Forum in Barcelona, are Jeff Mangum, Yo La Tengo, Wilco, The Drums, Guided By Voices, The xx, Neon Indian, Josh T. Pearson, Death In Vegas, Veronica Falls and Mudhoney.

The Cure and Bjork are confirmed to headline the festival.
