Regina Spektor, Martha Wainwright for ‘Boardwalk Empire’ soundtrack

The compilation accompanies the forthcoming second series of the show

Regina Spektor and Martha Wainwright have both contributed songs to the soundtrack of the second series of Boardwalk Empire.

The second series of the HBO programme will return to US screens on September 25, and will be accompanied by a 16-track compilation entitled ‘Boardwalk Empire Volume 1: Music From The HBO Original Series’.

Regina Spektor has covered Fanny Brice’s 1921 hit ‘My Man’ for the collection, while Martha Wainwright sings ‘All By Myself’.

Other musicians and artists to feature on the album include Martha’s father Loudon Wainwright III and Nellie McKay, reports Wears The Trousers.
