Singer plays Shockwaves NME Awards show

Regina Spektor celebrated her birthday at the Shockwaves NME Awards Show in London ahead of schedule tonight (February 16).

Even though her birthday is on Sunday (February 18), Spektor was heckled by the audience: “Happy Birthday Regina!”, the singer acknowledged her birthday on Sunday with a smile.

The singer played songs from her current album ’Begin To Hope’ including forthcoming single ’Fidelity’ as part of the Shockwaves NME Awards show.

Proceedings tonight kicked off with performances from New York’s Only Son, the Britpop influenced Brink Man and Sweden’s Love Is All.
