The Scots indie supergroup show their caring side...

Scots indie supergroup Reindeer Section are to play a one-off gig for a homeless charity before Christmas.

The show, at Glasgow Queen Margaret Union on December 14, will see the massed ranks of the Reindeer Section take the stage in aid of the COLD homeless charity.

The gig coincides with the premiere of a documentary about the band, ‘The Making Of Son Of Evil Reindeer’, which charts the process of bringing together 27 members of bands including Teenage

Fanclub, Arab Strap, Idlewild, Belle & Sebastian, Astrid, Alfie and Snow Patrol, whose frontman Gary Lightbody is head Sectioneer.

Tickets are available separately for the documentary screening at the GFT Cinema in Glasgow, costing £3.

Tickets for the charity gig, which is followed by a club night till 2am, cost £10.
