More info on the band's forthcoming shows as the release of new album 'Around The Sun' draws closer...

REM have announced the tour supports for their forthcoming jaunt round north America.

Five Eight, Now It’s Overheard, Trent Dabbs, Angela McCluskey, Joseph Arthur and Charllie Mars will share the slots once the tour begins in Los Angeles on October 13.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, REM release new album ‘Around The Sun’ on October 4. The follow up to 2001’s ‘Reveal’ is preceded by a single, ‘Leaving New York’, on September 27.
