A court in the trial of REM guitarist PETER BUCK has heard the star was a “drunken lout” on a flight to LONDON.
Buck denies being drunk on a plane, assaulting two stewards and causing criminal damage to British Airways dishes on a flight from Seattle to Heathrow in April last year.
According to BBC news, the prosecution at the trial at London’s Isleworth Crown Court told the jury that Buck ignored warnings to behave.
Prosecutor David Bate, QC commented: “He went on to upturn a breakfast trolley, smashing the crockery inside. He then picked up a knife and tried to slip it up his sleeve before it was taken from him by one of the crew.”
The trial continues.
