REM, MIA, The Cure to headline Sasquatch!

Flaming Lips, The Breeders are also set for Seattle festival

R.E.M, The Cure and The Flaming Lips are set to headline this year’s Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington State, it was announced today (February 25).

The annual event will take place May 24-26 over Memorial Day Weekend at the Gorge Amphitheatre along the canyons of the Columbia River. It has expanded from two to three days for the first time this year.

Also on the bill are MIA, Modest Mouse, The Hives, Tegan and Sara, The New Pornographers, The Kooks, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Built To Spill, Battles, Jamie Lidell, Cold War Kids, Beirut and The Little Ones, among others.

New Zealand comedy duo Flight Of The Conchords will also perform.
