ASHCROFT – NO JAZZ IN SOLO CAREER

Ex-Verve singer goes it alone - again...

Richard Ashcroft has split from his management company Big Life.

Headed by JAZZ SUMMERS, Big Life Management has represented the ex-Verve frontman since 1997.

The company’s roster also includes EMBRACE, BADLY DRAWN BOY and FRIDGE.

The news was announced on Thursday in a statement from ASHCROFT‘s press office.

The statement read: “It is announced today that Richard Ashcroft is no longer represented by Big Life Management.

Ashcroft is presently in the studio putting the finishing touches to his first solo album. A single will follow in early 2000.”

It’s not known what caused the split and Ashcroft is now looking for a new manager.
