Richard Ashcroft is appealing for the safe return of a vintage guitar, stolen after his surprise show in LONDON last week.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, Richard Ashcroft was the surprise special guest at Oasis‘ charity concert at the London Royal Albert Hall last Wednesday (February 6).

The former Verve vocalist performed two new songs as part of a 20 minute acoustic set, which was staged in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

A spokesperson for the star has told NME.COM that following the concert, Richard Ashcroft‘s guitar, pictured here, was stolen from inside the stage door of the Royal Albert Hall.

The guitar is a Gibson J200 Vintage Sunburst Acoustic with the serial number 9Z808003. It has a distinctive 7-inch split on the body above and parallel to the strings.

Richard Ashcroft is offering a reward for the guitar’s return. Rather than reward the thief, however, he will make a donation to the Teenage Cancer Trust if he gets the guitar back.

If anyone has any information they are asked to send an e-mail to Bob@terraartists.com.
