Rick Ross has reportedly been released from hospital.
According to TMZ, the rapper returned home on Monday morning (March 5) after four days in hospital care for “heart-related” problems.
He is currently “receiving care at his residence”, according to the same report.
Ross was hospitalised last week after reportedly being found unresponsive in his Miami home.
The Florida rapper was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Thursday morning (March 1) after he was discovered to be both unresponsive and breathing heavily.
TMZ initially reported that, upon arrival to hospital, Ross was taken to a cardiac unit and placed on a form of life support called ECMO (Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) – which provides assistance to a person whose heart or lungs are deemed to not be functioning properly.
However, members of Ross’s family and his friends later disputed TMZ‘s claim that the rapper was on life support. Fellow rapper Fat Trel took to Instagram following the reports, assuring fans that he’d just spoken to Ross and that he was “good” and “not on ‘life support'”. See that post below.

Back in 2011, Ross suffered a pair of seizures in the space of a few weeks. The first seizure occurred during a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis, with the plane having to make an emergency landing in order to save the rapper.
