Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Hudgens are also reportedly victims
Rihanna is reportedly a victim of the latest round of celebrity nude photo leaks, the second such incident in a month.
Billboard claims that images of Rihanna, allegedly taken at a clothes fitting, were posted on website 4Chan over the weekend. The Telegraph states that similar pictures of Emily Ratajkowski, a star of Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ video, plus Kim Kardashian and actresses Vanessa Hudgens, Gabrielle Union and Aubrey Plaza were also posted on the message board.
Earlier this month (September) musicians including Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff and Selena Gomez were among the women targeted. Ariana Grande released a statement denying the authenticity of images reported to have been of her while Apple confirmed that dozens of images of nude female celebrities were not a result of any breach in its system.
Union, who has appeared in Think Like A Man and Bring It On, issued a statement after the images surfaced online in which she said: “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of colour, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
Actress Jennifer Lawrence previously condemned naked photos of her leaked as part of the campaign as a “flagrant violation of privacy”.
