Run-DMC announce first London show in three years

COS IT'S LIKE THAT...

Run-DMC have announced that they’re returning to London for one night only later this year.

The hip-hop pioneers, who last played the capital in 2015, will return to the Eventim Apollo on Thursday 5 July – and they’re promising to roll out a legendary back catalogue that includes the likes of ‘Walk This Way’, ‘It’s Like That’ and ‘King Of Rock’.

A presale for the show is set to begin at 9AM on January 24, before general sale begins on January 26. You can buy tickets here.

Although it’s their first return to London in three years, Run DMC previously appeared on British shores last summer for their co-headline appearance alongside David Guetta at the Isle of Wight Festival.

After forming in 1981, RUN DMC went on to become of hip-hop’s most influential acts, becoming the first rap act to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone and the second rap act to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2009.
