RYAN – SLEEPING WITH THE NME!

The rising star joins our birthday celebrations...

Ryan Adams will continue his climb to stardom with two NME 5.0 shows as part of the paper’s 50th birthday celebrations.

The alt-country figurehead will take his Sweetheart Revolution band to Manchester Apollo on April 7 and London Brixton Academy on April 9. Tickets are priced at £16 for Manchester and £18.50 for London.

To coincide with the shows, [a][/a] will release new single, ‘Answering Bell’, on April 8. The first version of the single will include live versions of ‘The Bar Is A Beautiful Place’ and ‘Sweet Black Magic’, both featured on special additional discs from recent album ‘Gold’. A video of the single will also be included.

A second limited-edition CD will feature ‘Answering Bell’ live, as well as live versions of previous single ‘New York, New York’, plus that track’s video, and ‘To Be Young (Is To Be Sad, Is To Be High’) from his debut album ‘Heartbreaker’.
