The singer-songwriter performed a career-spanning set on the US show
Ryan Adams appeared on US music programme ‘Austin City Limits’ last night to play an acoustic set featuring songs from throughout his discography.
The 10-song set included the 2014 single ‘Gimme Something Good’ from his eponymous 14th studio album, which you can see footage of below.
The North Carolina native released two albums in 2015 – ‘Live At Carnegie Hall’ and a Taylor Swift cover record which saw him put his own spin on the pop star’s chart-busting ‘1989’ album from 2014. The tribute release was recently named in NME’s Albums of 2015.
Swift and Adam got together to discuss ‘1989’ late last year, with the pop starlet telling Adam “what you did with my album was like actors changing emphasis.”
The pair talked over their creative processes and influences in the interview, along with a few leftfield subjects like Swift’s love of Siri, as an aside to a GQ Magazine cover shoot.
Swift also revealed that she wasn’t currently working on a new album.
