Singer-songwriter is bowled over by Brit's second album

Ryan Adams has said Laura Marling makes him feel “insignifcant” as a songwriter.

The American star made the admission after hearing the Brit’s recent second album ‘I Speak Because I Can’.

“My god that new Laura Marling album is so insanely good,” he wrote on “Made me feel rather insignificant at songwriting…now that is songwriting!”

Adams is not the only US artists to fall for Marling‘s songwriting charms.

The singer recently recorded a Neil Young cover with Jack White at his Third Man studios in Nashville.
