Saint Etienne have announced details to release expanded and re-mastered versions of their albums ‘So Tough’ and ‘Sound Of Water’.

Both records will be re-released on August 31 as deluxe editions featuring the original album, an extra disc of session tracks, B-sides and extensive sleeve-notes.

So Tough, the group’s second album, was originally released in March 1993 and reached Number Seven in the UK charts, while ‘Sound Of Water’ was released in 2000.

The group recently performed their 1991 debut album, ‘Foxbase Alpha’, in its entirety over two sold-out nights at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom.

The band have announced a further two ‘Foxbase Alpha’ shows in the autumn.
