Sam Smith has revealed that he used to think Mexico was a place in Germany.
Smith spoke to Nick Grimshaw live from Mexico this morning and unveiled his new Bond theme.
Speaking from the country, Smith said, “I actually thought Mexico was near Berlin. I know it’s so bad. I thought it was in Europe then I realised it’s not. I’m more clued up now.”
Grimshaw later took to Twitter to express his dismay at Smith. See that tweet below.
Sam Smith released his theme song for new Bond film Spectre today, titled ‘Writing’s On The Wall’.
Smith worked on the song with producers Disclosure and songwriter Jimmy Napes. Taking to Twitter, the British singer wrote, “I have been dreaming of this moment for a long long time.”
Spectre is being released in the UK and Ireland on the same day as its world premiere: Monday, October 26. It will then open in cinemas internationally on various later dates, with its US release scheduled for November 6.
