Scissor Sisters remain UK number one

While Justin Timberlake soars to the top of the album chart

There is a poptastic look to the top of the UK single charts as Scissor Sisters hold on to the number one spot with ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancing’, just ahead of Justin Timberlake at two with ’Sexyback’, Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie at three and Nelly Furtado at four.

The highest brand new entry comes, on downloads alone, from The Killers. Their comeback single ‘When You Were Young’ enters at five and looks nailed on for number one next week.

Other new entries on the chart include The Lost Prophets at number 23 with ‘A Town Called Hypocrisy’, Lupe Fiasco Ft Jill Scott at number 25 with ‘Daydreamin’ and Larrikin Love at 32 with ‘Happy As Annie’.

Meanwhile on the album chart, Timberlake goes straight to the top spot with ‘ Futuresex/lovesounds’ with The Fratellis’s ‘Costello Music’ bounding in at number two. Supersmooth love machine Lemar enters at three with ‘The Truth About Love’.
