Scissor Sisters wow fans at massive free show

And they're joined by very special guest

Scissor Sisters played a free gig in London‘s Trafalgar Square last night (September 16).

The show was being staged in aid of AIDS charity campaign the Red Campaign which was co-founded by U2‘s Bono.

The band were introduced onstage by Kylie Minogue – who previously collaborated with the group on song ‘I Believe In You’ – explaining: “They are some very special friends of mine. You’ve taken them to your hearts as have I.”

Singer Jake Shears then proclaimed his love for the British capital saying: “We can call London our new home town.” His co-singer Ana Matronic added: “British people are smarter than Americans.”

The band played a number of songs from their new album ‘Ta- Dah’.

The biggest cheers of the evening were reserved for current number one single ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancing’ and closer ‘Filthy Gorgeous’ which Shears dedicated to the audience members who had started their own party in Trafalgar Square‘s fountains.
