She will play dates in Leeds and London next April
Sharon Van Etten has unveiled the video for her song ‘Your Love Is Killing Me’ and announced UK tour plans for next year.
The new promo was directed by Sean Durki, who directed the 2011 film Martha Marcy May Marlene, as well as last year’s Channel 4 drama series Southcliffe. The video stars Wetlands actress Carla Juri and you can watch it at Indiewire.
Sharon Van Etten has also announced UK dates for 2015, in addition to her headline tour of the UK this November. She will play Leeds Brudenell Social Club on April 25 and London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 29.
Her 2014 shows, part of a wider world tour, will see the singer-songwriter playing Manchester Cathedral on November 24, Glasgow Art School on November 25 and Birmingham Library on November 26.
In May, Van Etten released ‘Are We There’, the follow-up to her 2012 album ‘Tramp’. Speaking to NME previously about the album, she revealed: “I’m less censored every time I do a record. I’m like, ‘I think this is OK. I don’t think I’m freaking out. The only one I’m freaking out is me.’ This is really intense stuff to write and sing about.”
Sharon Van Etten plays:
Manchester Cathedral (November 24)
Glasgow Art School (25)
Birmingham Library (26)
Leeds Brudenell Social Club (April 25, 2015)
