The Swedes wrap up their US tour
Members of the Pogues joined the Shout Out Louds for the final show of their US autumn tour at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles last night (November 5).
Spider Stacy and James Fearnley teamed up with the Swedish five-piece for a faithful cover of the Pogues’ ‘Streams of Whiskey’, garnering massive cheers from the crowd.
Shout Out Louds got the packed house dancing with songs from their latest album ‘Our Ill Wills’ as well as older tracks including ‘The Comeback’ and ‘Shut Your Eyes’.
They concluded the night with an encore featuring some of The Clash‘s ‘Train In Vain’ played in the middle of their own ‘Very Loud’.
Earlier in the evening, LA natives Nico Vega kicked things off, and Swedish duo Johnossi won over the crowd with their blues-inflected set that included ‘Santa Monica Bay’ and a new track ‘Eighteen Carat Gold’.
The Shout Out Louds played:
‘Time Left For Love’
‘Please Please Please’
‘Shut Your Eyes’
‘Your Parents’ Living Room’
‘You Are Dreaming’
‘Streams of Whiskey’
‘Tonight I Have to Leave It’
