Sia drove 13 hours to make her gig in Sydney after her flight was cancelled

"I may be 5 minutes late," the singer wrote on Twitter

Sia has been praised by her fans after she drove 13 hours to her gig in Sydney.

The singer was unable to catch her flight due to severe weather and instead of cancelling her concert at the Allianz Stadium, she drove all the way from Melbourne to make the show.

“I may be five minutes late. We couldn’t catch a plane due to weather, so drove thirteen hours then blew a tire which has given me crazy diarrhea. Bear with me guys. I love you,” she wrote on Twitter.

“Four minutes from venue. Fully dressed. Ready to go. Bear with me. Massive apologies,” she later added. Fans waited for the singer despite the torrential downpour. Take a look at the tweets below.

Last month, Sia released her new music video, featuring three child stars from It and Stranger Things.

Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas in Stranger Things, and It ‘Losers Club’ members Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff, wear festive jumpers and dance in the video for Sia’s latest track, ‘Santa’s Coming For Us’.

Filmed in a vintage sitcom-style house, the video also features Kristen Bell, Henry Winkler, Dax Shepard, JB Smoove and Susan Lucci.

A karaoke ticker at the bottom of the video bounces through the lyrics, which include: “Nights are getting shorter now hot chocolate fills the air and Christmas cheer does too.”

‘Santa Is Coming For Us’ is taken from Sia’s new festive album, ‘Everyday is Christmas’, which was released on November 17.

Additional tracks include ‘Snowman’ and ‘Ho Ho Ho’.
